Purpose of the role
- Interact with all customers, accept and handle all their booking requirements and freight rate requests.
- Develop business generation and retention supporting overall WWS/EUKOR profitability and that of the operating companies.
- Targeted and focused follow-up on quotations to secure business at the best possible rate.
- Ensure follow up on Customer Satisfaction within set framework.
- To provide general office administration support to office.

- The role reports to Senior Sales Manager – ME & Africa.
- The role will interact with Sales teams, Pricing, Legal, Trade, Documentation and Operations
- Corporate functions – HR and Finance, local and regional.
Job Description:
Main Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth in the most cost-efficient way.
- Continue high value relationships with current customer base.
- Follow up with sales targets/quotes to ensure new profitable business.
- Manage cargo inquiry & provide service idea for Middle East & Africa region.
- Arrange bookings for all commodities/customers within our booking systems.
- Collaborate with major agencies to provide GQS guidance as super-user.
- T/S connection management for cross trade shipment with local T/S office
- Close collaboration with export areas on reverse sales/Import Business
- Support of the documentation process and activities when required by local customers (e.g. collection of original bills.)
- Coordinating for shipping documentation problem-solving between customer & agencies
- Comply with the export/import process as well as legal policy and regulations
- Sanction screening coordination with customer & legal team
- Weekly Freight collection management with agencies
- Monthly agency booking commission checking based on internal Data
- Monthly market reporting in collaboration with local agencies
- Arrange Monthly business result reporting
- Distribution of Middle East & Africa vessel schedules to customer
- Distribution of port regulation update & circulars to concerned teams
- Dialogue with Trade for overall space situations and potential challenges, finding solutions for Customers.
- Collaborate with Dubai PTS team for cargo handling review & pricing team for pricing review
- Ensure and follow up on Customer Satisfaction within the set framework.
- Overall sales support for Business in Middle East & Africa region
- Act as Office Administrator, taking care of all administration and support required.
- Provide finance administration support for the whole office as required.
Job Requirements:

- Delivering on performance KPIs – WWS/EUKOR internal KPI’s as well as those KPI’s contractually agreed with customers in the area of responsibility.

Knowledge & Skills
- Relevant shipping, transportation or logistics industry experience of 2 years
- Excellent communication skills and good negotiation skills
- Problem solving and analysis
- Analytical and numeracy skills: ability to interpret figures correctly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy: profound MS Office knowledge and quick learner of business applications.
- Experience of office administration and/or finance.
