Overview:
The ability to carry out accounting functions and be able to assist the Finance Manager within the finance department in all site production, flow timekeeping, accounting, and work administration with the Product Distribution Center. Particular emphasis should be on accurate and timeliness to all invoicing, billing, and accounting factors. Should understand administration within ISO practices. Ensure all actions, maintenance or production are completed in accordance with Managers, customers, or Manufacturer’s instructions. The most important is to be confidential with information.
Job Description:
- Liase with Operations / Logistics department to obtain required information to raise our Revenue invoices in our invoicing system including but not limited to shipping, transport, maintenance, storage related activities.
- Liase with Head office to create New Vendors and customer codes management.
- Prepare Accounts Receivable ageing and trace the invoices on a periodic basis. Follow up for the collection of amounts on a periodic basis.
- Accounts Payable management which includes supplier SOA reconciliation and arranging payments.
- Review cost to ensure proper allocation of the product code.
- Sales invoices Reconciliation and ensure all the invoices has been posted from invoicing system to accounting system.
- Assist in computation and preparation of UAE VAT returns.
- Preparing financial recordkeeping, as well as protecting private information.
- Assist & perform monthly accruals of IT cost, Personnel cost and reconciliation of prepaid expenses and depreciation.
- Manage balance sheet and profit/loss statement and ensure the consolidation is completed in our accounting and reporting system.
- Assist with month end closing process in our accounting system.
- Assist Finance Manager to prepare Monthly, quarterly management accounts, including review of variance, quarterly forecast, and annual budgets.
- Maintain the volumes and labour productivity reporting file and ensure it is up to date prior to the monthly reporting.
Job Requirements:
Qualification
Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred
Work Experience
- At least of 5 years of UAE work experience.
- Experience in Shipping / Multinational organizations, and/or highly decentralized organizations will be considered an advantage.
- Advance working knowledge of MS Excel and MS word. Ability to formulate and develop complex spreadsheet.
- Be able to provide proof of previous employment with good conduct.
- Worked with major Accounting Systems that utilize double entry principles.
- Ability to work flexibly and effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in Both Financial and Management accountant.
- Preferred knowledge in SAP / OneStream is an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of IFRS Lease is an added advantage.
- Strong communications skills.
- Strong financial analysis skills.
