Job Description
The Visa Business Solutions (VBS) team is a world-class commercial organization experiencing exciting growth opportunities as we expand into new payment flows and continue to grow our robust range of payments solutions for commercial clients in the Small Business, Middle Market, Corporate, Public, Supply Chain and Government segments. This includes small business cards, virtual cards, corporate T&E cards, purchasing cards, online travel solutions, agriculture and fleet/cargo solutions, AP/AR solutions, cross-border solutions, data platforms, expense management solutions and more. As technology rapidly develops to increase efficiency in electronic payments, Visa is at the forefront serving the growing demand for innovative B2B commercial solutions. The Head of VBS Central Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMEA) will direct Visa Business Solutions to new and emerging Payment technologies for our commercial clients across the region.
What the VP, Region Head of Visa Business Solutions, CEMEA does at Visa:
- Reports to the Global Head of Visa Business Solutions while also having a direct line regionally to the Head of CEMEA Commercial & Money Movement Solutions (CMS).
- Establish and execute the strategic priorities for Visa Business Solutions in CEMEA that accelerates Visa’s commercial business to deliver aggressive revenue growth goals, consistent with Board-level 5-year commitments,
- Develop, engage, and lead a high caliber team of sales, partnership, platform and product delivery specialists.
- Carry P&L responsibility for VBS in the CEMEA region – manage financial forecasts and long- and short-term financial operating plans to maximize growth, meet quarterly and annual financial targets and ensure that resources are dedicated to the most appropriate business initiatives.
- Drive thought leadership and development with issuers, acquirers, technology partners and emerging alternative providers.
- Be responsible for all of Visa’s commercial business results and expansion within the region, including the establishment of regional strategies and priorities, sales relationships, new business development, product delivery, platform development and support.
- Lead a regional team that works closely with the global VBS team to deliver globally consistent and regionally relevant solutions to clients.
- Work and partner closely with other key stakeholders like Marketing, Merchant Sales & Acquiring, Cybersource, Visa Consulting & Analytics, Risk and Digital Partnerships to develop solutions relevant to the region.
- Build visibility of Visa capabilities in VBS across the region, through regular engagements with industry, regulators and government leaders.
- Add value to clients by focusing on the product needs and gaps, offering consultative feedback based on our current and envisioned solutions

As we expand beyond core consumer card payments (C2B) and into broader money movement flows among individuals, businesses, and governments. Qualifications
• 15 or more years of sales leadership experience involving, commercial payments, cash management, treasury management and/or launching new FI products from a top tier financial institution, an industry technology provider or payment consultancy.
• Deep experience in Transaction Banking (10 years +), Trade Finance and/or Treasury preferred.
• Extensive experience leading teams in the commercial and/or payments industries.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial payment methods (cards and digital), competitive and market trends and leading edge technology and innovation.
• Deep experience in building commercial payment flows, including small business segments.
• Commercially astute with experience of working in a global matrix organization with the ability to navigate complex structures and empower decision-making locally
• Ability to address regulators with strategic thought leadership.
• Demonstrated capability on managing a business on an end to end basis across a complex geography.
• Passion for building strong team culture and developing the team’s careers and contributions to best success, including a track record for a proven ability to attract, hire and train top talent.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, possessing the maturity and competence to influence across multiple levels and organizations including internal and external stakeholders.
