Via Medica International Healthcare LLC is looking for a HSE & Operations Associate to work in our Dubai Office. The job of the HSE & Operations Associate is to provide Health, Safety & Environment management and coordination support for the company services and activities consistent with contractual commitments. This will include managing the Health and Safety related matters and monitoring compliance with standards and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing/MBBS/Allied Healthcare
• NEBOSH IGC Certificate
• 3-5 years or more in healthcare operations.

Essential Functions:

• Formulates health and safety policies and procedures and ensures that these are in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Conducts risk assessments and highlight the areas of potential risk and proposes protocols to reduce risks.
• Ensures that employees are trained in the health and safety procedures company-wide and in their areas of work.
• Conducts frequent safety inspections and checks.
• Trains and continually educates the employees in the importance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Facilitates the issuance of PPE to employees and frequently checks PPE for wear and tear.
• Develops and implements correct procedure for reporting accidents. Ensures that accident reporting is informed to all employees.
• Responds to safety complaints and concerns raised by employees by investigating and ensuring that plans are in place to remove danger.
• Responsible for first aid procedures, including employee first aid training.
• Manages emergency procedures such as fire alarm drills and conducts first aid training for employees.
• Assisting the Operations Manager in daily management
• Performing administrative tasks
• Maintaining schedule of operations
• Cooperating with different departments
