Van den Bosch is an international logistics provider specialising in bulk transport and operating from 11 locations with over 700 colleagues. We are currently looking for an EDI Specialist, who will be responsible for maintaining and developing communication between internal and external systems and applications.
As an EDI Specialist, you will be working in an enthusiastic and professional team. In this role, you will be working on renewing the communication with customers and suppliers. You will replace the ‘traditional’ communication by automated data communication, using the integration suite. The functional and technical co-development of applications will also be part of the job.

Wat ga je doen?

• Renewing communication with customers and suppliers. Traditional communication is replaced by automated data communication using the business integration suite
• Functional and technical development of applications based on your expertise in data, databases and system links
• Maintain and develop communication between internal and external systems and applications
• Preparation of conceptual and practical data designs
• Devising integration solutions for new issues from within the organization

Wat is jouw profiel?

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position or IT
• Analytically strong and structured
• Able to communicate clearly on complex matters
• Experience with writing SQL scripts, queries and stored procedures is a plus
• Experience with SOAP / REST web applications and data formats such as XML, JSON and EDIFACT is a plus
• Experience with middleware solutions is a bonus
