VAM Systems is currently looking for IT Infrastructure Engineer for our UAE operations with the following terms and conditions:

Skills & Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing the Systems, storage and cloud infrastructure and developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key technical areas.

• Perform detailed & complex engineering, design, implementation and maintenance tasks on the systems, storage & related applications
• Analyze technical needs, requirements, and state of systems infrastructure design, integration, and operations
• Prepare a design, presentation or a pitch for projects by using system CAD and/or other system topology software
• Design and manage the rollout of critical system infrastructures to support products and services, upgrades on both a strategic (long term) and tactical (immediate term) level
• Develop procedures for installation, proper use, troubleshoot and other essential details for the overall systems infrastructure. Execute a test-run of to-be deployed services with IT engineers, clients & vendors
• Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans
• Install/upgrade servers’ hardware and software/applications components with impact analysis & according to defined released plan.
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation
• Well versed in Hyper-converged, Servers infrastructure & Operating systems (MS Windows, Linux)
• Well versed in Storage & Backup platforms (HP, IBM, Storage EMC Data domain, Quantum Tape Library)
• Well versed in Virtualization platforms (Microsoft Hyper-V & VMware VSphere)
• Well versed in Email systems & its Security (Microsoft Office 365, Mimecast etc.)
• Well versed in Data center power, cooling & physical access security systems
• System Administration, Routine maintenance of complete IT systems.

Joining time frame: (15 – 30 days) Terms and conditions

The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems – UAE and shall be deputed to one of the Organizations in UAE.
