Valiant Clinic Hiring for Clinical Dietitian Job at Dubai Full Time

This position exists to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary care team staff across the continuum of care to provide nutritional care and guidance for patients including weight management, diabetes, cardiology care for adults across various cultures in an out patient setting. The position provides services for multiple specialties, and includes responsibility for in service training.

1: Individual counseling: Supports patients’ lifestyle behavior change including assisting patients in setting SMART goals for self-management, supporting them to self-manage health conditions and report abnormal findings to their physician team. Develops individualized nutrition care plans based on current evidence, physical results, patient goals and concerns.

2: Group counselling, community outreach and corporate wellness: Effectively plans and implements culturally sensitive and evidence based programs and talks

3: Patient confidentiality: Maintains confidentiality of patient, personnel, and institutional information, is considerate of patient rights and maintains privacy and dignity for all patients and their families. Accepts responsibility for own actions, works within the scope of practice and follows rules of conduct set by Valiant clinic.

4: Patient safety and quality: Follows all safety rules while on the job; reports accidents promptly and corrects minor safety hazards. Promotes a clean and safe work environment by:
o Maintaining a clean, orderly work environment
o Endorsing principles of infection control
o Complying with personal protective equipment requirements
o Promptly reporting accidents
o Correcting minor safety hazards

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Nutrition, Dietetics or equivalent

• Minimum of four (4) years in Healthcare, Health Education, Health Promotion or other nutriton clinical experience required

• Previous experience in a multi-specialty outpatient environment preferred
• Successful completion of requirements for licensure by Dubai Health Authority
• Registration with internationally accredited Nutrition and Dietetic bodies preferred
• Experience with public speaking, corporate health and the designing and implementation of diesease management programs preferred
