What will the role look like:
We are looking for an bookeper/ accountant to help our business make critical financial decisions by recording and classifing a company’s daily financial transactions; providing insights, analysis and advice to ensure healthy cash flow and financial stability.
The role will include:
Bookkeeping (daily care of finance: keep track of daily expenses, organize and keep records, complete payments, prepare invoices, chase client payments) vs accountant (create monthly reports, P&L, maintain healthy cash flow, create finance projections, provide advice.
Requirements
If you fit the bill you know the drill:
- Have at least 3 years experience as an accountant in the UAE
- Experience working with digital softwares
- Have a relevant degree / education in accounting
- Have excellent English skills both written and verbal
How your day will look like:
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents

Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
