Reporting to the Executive Director Finance & Administration (EDFA), the Head of People & Culture (HoPC) will be a member of the Operational Management Team and play a vital role in the University’s achievement of its operational and strategic goals.

The HoPC is primarily responsible for partnering with the business to design, develop and implement strategies that will attract, engage, and develop employees and build upon a high-performance values-driven culture. This position will provide strategic HR advice, improve business practices, lead projects and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Experience and Qualifications

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in People & Culture or any related discipline
• Extensive experience in a similar business partnering role in a commercial or professional services organisation.
• Significant experience in interpreting and providing advice to all levels concerning relevant HR policy, procedure and legislation.

Desirable:

• HR professional qualification i.e. Level 7 CIPD or equivalent
• Experience in the Education / HE sector within the GCC region would be advantageous

• Demonstrated understanding of contemporary HR practices and sound working knowledge of contemporary organisational development and workforce management tools, programs and strategy.
