Job Purpose

Work under the directive of the Senior Operations Manager and in close partnership with the Operations Managers and the Project teams and other inter-departmental teams to plan and assist the operations of the exhibitions organized by the DWTC to achieve department targets.

. Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Operations Management – Preshow stand design approval, banner advertising calculation, double decker verification. Acting as a liaison between stand contractors and venue health and safety for stand build approval
• Operations Management – Preshow assistance with floor plan management (Autocad)
• Operations Management – Meet regularly with all relevant contractors and suppliers along with the Operations Manager to ensure that services are provided as required.
• Operations Management – On site halls management throughout each exhibition, assisting the team, ensuring the smooth running of the show.
• Operations Management – On site hall management – ensure that stands are being built as per approved stand design in the correct location ensuring all stand contractors are within the halls during build days. Assist with monitoring the progress of work of official contractors (eg: banners, carpet, shell, upgrade stand build / dismantle, tents, traffic equipment deliveries, toilets, cabins, pontoons) and escalate if necessary.
• Governance and Process Management – Follow & implement the DWTC Policies & Procedures
• Governance and Process Management – Implement duties in line with the Quality standards, Security and Health & Safety requirements.
• Other duties as needed or required and deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.
• Work Experience- At least 3 to 5 years of exhibitions operations experience in a show organizer capacity or training in the field of exhibition operations Previous experience in drawing floorplans (AUTOCAD)

• Skills and Knowledge- Proven leadership experience and capabilities Excellent Computer literacy including AutoCAD

Education:

• Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

• exhibitions operations: 5 years (Preferred)
• show organiser capacity: 5 years (Preferred)
• AUTOCAD: 2 years (Preferred)
• Operations Management: 2 years (Preferred)
