Designation : Attractions Visitor Services Supervisor

Function : Pavilions and Exhibitions Operations

Job Purpose:

The role of the Supervisor is to manage all aspects of the attractions to ensure first the safety of all visitors while providing the best possible visitor experience

Work Environment

· Work both indoor and in outdoor weather conditions to include cold, rain,direct sunlight and extreme heat

· Stand for prolonged periods on ground as well as moving platform

· Must be comfortable working at heights and in rotation

· When necessary, use a radio and respond to commands with background noise,for the duration of shift

· Work in varied light conditions including low or diminished lighting; maintain concentration/focus

· Occasional requirement for manual handling

· Shifts may include working early mornings, late nights,

overnights, weekends or public holidays

Main Responsibilities

· Effectively manage a team of Ride Operators, Hosts and Playground Attendants by delegating tasks, providing motivation and ensuring that staff are fully trained to present the best possible visitor experience

· Responsible for all aspects of ride and playground safety, ensuring the rides and equipment are safe for all visitors and staff at all times. This includes, checking daily maintenance reports and responding accordingly ,acting as Chief Fire Warden/Incident Fire Commander and overseeing all queue management and general safety

· Work with other Functions inside the attraction to ensure that the same high standards are applied across the ride attractions and playgrounds

· Ensure timely opening and closing of the attraction, efficient operating during opening hours whilst ensuring compliance in all areas of departmental policies and procedures

· Receive and act on reports from Senior Management, Maintenance, Security, Facilities etc. whilst maintaining accurate records and providing regular reports to the Pavilions and Exhibitions management team

· Support People of Determination and visitors with accessible needs

· Perform the duties of subordinates when required in cases of short staffing or to cover breaks

· Perform any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Pavilions and Exhibitions team

Requirements:

· Bachelor degree in any discipline

· One-year experience in amusement equipment operation

· Valid amusement equipment operator certificate from an accredited certifying body

· First aid qualification as per the local requirement where the certification scheme is applied

· Experience of managing/supervising a diverse team

· Health and Safety management, training and responsibilities

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: AED5,000.00 per month
