The job holder is responsible to operate marine vessel – Dubai Abra and to ensure passenger & personnel safety on-board at all times. Check the battery water, lights etc. on a daily basis before using a Abra.

KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES

· To drive guests in the Abra wherever required within the resort following the schedule given by the Team Leader.

· Is responsible follow and implement policies on board the vessel

· To strictly adhere to the operational timetable for arrival and departure of vessels

· To safely operate the water vessels, transport passengers and other personnel to and from the stations, as required.

· To ensure that safety is provided whilst embarking/ disembarking passengers and personnel from vessels.

· To have excellent knowledge of the channel layout for safe navigation

· Ensure to fill the daily log book sheet and check list on daily basis.

· Ensure the vessel is clean and ready for operation any time.

· Communicate to the OCC departure, arrival time and passenger details at all times.

· To standby on board and provide support on any marine craft or ashore during emergency and firefighting situations to maintain safety procedures.

· Ensure crew always wear PPE and as the situation requires and to ensure compliance of all personnel in wearing of correct PPE

· To ensure full safety precautions are being adhered to by operations personnel.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience as skipper in any kind of vessel not less than 12 mtr
• STCW-2010 basic safety training
• DMCA/FTA license upto 12 mtr
• Good English communication skill

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: AED3,000.00 per month
