UHRS Hiring for Veterinary Nurse at Dubai Full Time

Job Description

• Support and assist all medical activities in Dubai Safari Park for preventive program, daily basis treatment including

emergency response under Veterinarian supervision.

• Support and assist Veterinarian to update and remind the immunization and preventive care program and participate in

executing nutrition and reproduction program for animal in Dubai Safari Park.

• Update and communicate their covering nurse (if the monthly nurse in-charge is off) to their veterinarian in charge.
• Prepare all medical equipment for treatment that are requested by the Veterinarian (please share if nurse have acquisition

form that needs to be filled by the vet to avoid missing or forgetting stuff).

• Clean all the equipment and table after all treatment procedures, especial for hazard waste need special treatment
• Check equipment inventory and expiry date of the medicine in their monthly responsibility area on a weekly basis.
• Daily cleaning and surface disinfection of Hospital treatment table before treatment activities in hospital start.
• Refill all the disposable equipment that have been used and keep all treatment room neat and tidy.
• Daily cleaning and surface disinfection of surgery room and keep the surgery table and room always ready for emergency

response. Always check the availability emergency medicine for emergency treatment in surgery room need to be check every

day before hospital treatment activities start. And assist the veterinarian during the surgery activities.

• File all treatment sheet based on the specification of the responsibility folder area, update the completed file list and send it

by weekly email.

• Treatment sheets needs to be filled on the same date of treatment including all animal information and notes mentioned and

provided by the veterinarian during treatment.

• Work as a team and cooperate with other Vet. (Covering Vet.) If the in-charge vet. is not on duty.
• Update all information and follow-up the schedule of medication and sampling date in the group as a reminder for the keepers.
• Fill up all the acquisition administration for internal Lab test on the same date of sampling.
• Update the Animal Administration information in Log of the responsibility area regularly.
• For the Hospital nurses, have responsibility to open and close all the door of Dubai Safari Veterinary Hospital before and

after Hospital Operation Hour.

• Report to hospital admin for the administration proposes (maintenance request, transport request, and some regular no

treatment in-house request).

• All additional assignments that not listed will be updated if necessary.
• All other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Notes:

Preferred education:
Bachelor or Diploma in veterinary Science.

Preferred Qualifications (Work experience): minimum 5 years in the field of wildlife .
