TYLOZ CLEANING SERVICES Hiring for Carpenter Job at Dubai Full Time

• Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work
• Designing and installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation
• Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures
• Selecting lumber by size and strength to suit each job, sourcing wood to suit the need
• Calculating the number of fasteners required for each job
• Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations
• Carry out inspection in facilities and carry out handyman works.
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements
• Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Lay out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible
• Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated
• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
• Prepare template and prototype for fabrication.
• Technical knowledge on gypsum and interior fit out works.
• Installation of carpet/rugs/carpet underlayer
• Builds forms, operates planers, shapers, jointers, lathes, handsaws, and other woodworking machinery.
• Maintains tools and machinery in safe and efficient operating condition
• May assist in cement work, fence repair, and other outside maintenance work

Carpenter abilities required:

• Perform skilled carpentry work in the maintenance, repair, construction, alteration, forming, framing, and finishing of District buildings and facilities.
• Construct, install, maintain and repair woodwork.
• Interpret, explain, and apply building codes, rules and regulations involved in assigned maintenance activities.
• Effectively and safely operate a variety of tools and equipment used in the skilled carpentry trade.
• Interpret shop drawings, sketches, and work orders.
• Perform heavy physical labor.
• Understand and communicate blueprints.
• Make accurate arithmetical computations.
• Maintain routine records and reports.
• Understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Estimate labor and material costs.
• Perform duties effectively, timely, and without supervision.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED2,000.00 – AED2,500.00 per month
