Position: Administrator of Tufting Workshop (Customer Self-Service)
Job Summary:
The Administrator of a Tufting Workshop (Customer Self-Service) is responsible for managing the operations, customer bookings, and overall administration of a tufting workshop where customers can book appointments to create their own rugs. This role involves overseeing customer interactions, coordinating workshop schedules, ensuring a smooth workflow, and maintaining a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Workshop Management:
– Maintain an organized and welcoming workshop environment for customers.
– Ensure all necessary tufting equipment, materials, and supplies are available and in good working condition.
– Coordinate with maintenance personnel for regular equipment maintenance and repairs.
2. Customer Service:
– Greet and assist customers upon their arrival, providing instructions and guidance on tufting processes.
– Answer customer inquiries, address concerns, and provide recommendations as needed.
– Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor to ensure a positive customer experience.
3. Appointment Coordination:
– Manage the booking system for customer appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and maximum utilization of workshop
4. Tufting Assistance:
– Ensure that customers have access to the necessary tools, materials, and resources for their tufting projects.
5. Administrative Tasks:
– Maintain accurate records of customer appointments, payments, and other relevant information.
– Handle cash or electronic transactions, process payments, and issue receipts.
– Keep inventory of tufting materials, replenish supplies as needed, and place orders with suppliers.
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service or a related field is a plus.
– Previous experience in a customer-facing role, such as customer service, hospitality, or retail.
– Basic knowledge of tufting processes and equipment, or willingness to learn.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers of various skill levels.
– Excellent organizational abilities to manage customer appointments, maintain records, and coordinate resources.
– Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
– Friendly and approachable demeanor, with a customer-centric mindset.
– Basic computer skills for managing appointments, transactions, and record-keeping.
