As a Counter Manager you will be working in the new Terminal A at Abu Dhabi International Airport. You will be part of a close-knit team, in the perfume, cosmetics, sunglasses and fashion-jewellery duty-free shops. Day to day Responsibilities
– Lead the operational running of the counter and manage the team ensuring targets are met, standards are maintained, and support, mentor the team and work with colleagues on their personal development plans.
– Demonstrate business acumen including sales analysis, inventory management and organise staffing.
– Deliver, initiative and create events to drive sales.
– Embrace digital business tools and be an ambassador for them within your team.
– Identify business strengths at store level, use initiative to coordinate with retail and training team to maximise sales opportunities.
– Devise retention strategies for the individuals on counter.
– Develop positive relationships and be an outstanding brand ambassador.
– Convey passion and master storytelling.
– Connect with our clients by providing good solutions and after sales service.
What you’ll need
– Possesses a genuine passion for style and luxury brands.
– 1-3 years’ experience working with customers in hospitality or retail.
– Second language is preferred.
– A genuine desire and commitment to provide extraordinary customer service.
– The ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business.
– The ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.
– To be flexible to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
