Purpose-

Provide support to Verifier – Remittance & Payments in achieving the Unit objectives. Manage day to day functions of Remittance & Payroll along with overseeing operations of external vendors WNS, TG and Brinks

Responsibility-

• The candidate will be primarily responsible for reconciliation and proofing activities for the Payments and Payroll unit. This includes the daily review of all ageing/pending transactions, follow-ups to closure of all cases, creation of reports and submission to senior management.
• The candidate needs to ensure that all ageing items are identified with rationale and that all closed items are matched-off accordingly. He/she will work closely with members of the Payments and Payroll unit, the recon team as well as senior management.
• The candidate will perform controls and monitoring related functions to ensure that all processes are meeting the required SLAs and that all controls are being performed accordingly. This includes but is not limited to quality control, end of day monitoring, independent review, root cause analysis, etc. He/she also needs to ensure that all functions are in line with Compliance, OFAC, Correspondence Bank guidelines, ICCS guidelines and CBUAE requirements.
• As part of the onshore team, the candidate will also respond to customer/HO departments enquiries and correspond with them related to Units activities.
• The candidate will also take part in projects or business process improvement initiatives where he/she will spearhead initiatives and look for opportunities as to how the processes can be enhanced further.
• Reconciliation of daily Remittance – Inward / Outward from all channels, identify duplicate processing, system issues, dash board to identify day’s inventories .
• 100 % maintenance of SLA by the Agency.
• Rectification of unreconciled GL entries and respond to QA same day – pertaining to Remittances, Standing Order, Payroll .
• Customer complaints, follow-up with PCM for H2H, WPS and other iBusiness products pertaining to Payroll / SO between Offshore and Bank in resolving service issues.

Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree (finance related field is an advantage but not mandatory).
• Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in Payments Operations with
• knowledge of Reconciliation.
• Good interpersonal and negotiating skills.
• Investigative and analytical mind.
• Good report writing skills.
