Job Title : Department Coordinator
Reporting To: Retail Category Manager
Department: Retail Category Management
Purpose of Position
- Serves as lead facilitator for department planning and decision making and is responsible, within defined scope, for the day-to-day operation of a department.
- Be the point of contact by linking Key stake holders, internal departments, and customers.
- To support the department with data management and coordination with other key departments and stake holders.
- Help the Retail Category Manager and other colleagues in the department in organizing events as and when required
- Follow up and collect details or data from suppliers, vendors or internal departments as per set timelines.
- Ensure complete support and coordination to the department peers in order to achieve the department goals and targets.
Qualifications Required
- High School Degree / Graduate
Experience Required
- 2 Years of experience (Preferably)

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and coordinate daily department activities to achieve established goals.
- Maintain department calendar and ensure to meet deadlines.
- Greeting visitors/vendors/Clients and directing them to the appropriate parties.
- Handling basic office duties, such as answering and routing phones, responding to emails, data entry, and reporting.
- Prepare meeting agenda, schedule departmental meetings and distribute minutes.
- Coordinate and organize department related special events.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.
- Assist Manager in scheduling conference calls / meetings and making all arrangements including travel as per need.
- Supporting department employees by facilitating interdepartmental communications and interactions between internal and external parties.
- Prepare and maintain the expense reports for freelance team as and when needed
- Maintain all department information, confidential and secure.
- Respond to work requests from department staffs in timely and accurate manner.
- Assist Manager in preparing and maintaining meeting materials, business presentations and other department files.
- Adhere to company policies and regulations
- Provide general administrative and clerical support.
- Call for messengers and ship packages when necessary
- Perform data collection, analysis and reporting to Manager for decision making purposes.
- Analyzing and coordinating the overall department activities to achieve its targeted goals.
- Draft letters, correspondence, memos, charts, documents, tables, graphs, and plans as requested.
- Create and execute PowerPoint presentations for training and analysis purposes.
- Maintain positive working relationships with department staffs and customers.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by Manager.
- Working one on one with retail sampling team and gather trail data and analysis
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: AED4,500.00 – AED5,500.00 per month

Experience:
