Fully involved with all aspects of service, hands on at all time in his section assigned to him by the Outlet Manager
Assists the Restaurant Manager in efficiently managing the outlet according to the established concept statement providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following the set Standards of Performance
Has a full working knowledge and capability to supervise, correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks in the assigned Place of to the standard
Assigns responsibilities to subordinates implementing Multi Tasking principle and to check their performance periodically
Maintains a pool of qualified part time employees in conjunction with the Human Resources Department
Implements a flexible scheduling based on business patterns
Ensures that the par stocks for all operating equipment and supplies are strictly adhered to and that the outlet is adequately equipped
Assists in conducting monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies
Assists in controlling the requisitioning, storage and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies
Conducts daily pre-shift briefings to employees on preparation, service and menu
Liaises with the Kitchen and Beverage Department on daily operation and quality
Has a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items in the menu and the ability to recommend Food & Beverage combinations and upsell alternatives
Handles guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests
Establishes a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationship
Ensures that the outlet cashiering procedures are strictly adhered to.
