About the Team
This role is based on the Content & Creative team. We’re looking for a Content Specialist who is passionate about TikTok, mentorship & education, ideation, storytelling, and copywriting.
Responsibilities:
As a Content Specialist, you’ll be specializing in guiding content creators via the Creator Academy. This includes creating & hosting workshops for different content verticals (ex. Gaming, fashion & beauty, sports, comedy and more!) and co-creating tutorials with creators based on user needs. You will also work on ideation and creative solutions for various projects.
- You’ll spend time in-app understanding and learning about the content eco-system, to develop content guidance and best practice.
- You will work closely with teammates and creators to develop educational content & workshops.
- You will conduct ongoing research on trends especially to identify timely content initiatives in order to drive meaningful change within the ecosystem and capture opportunities.
- 2-3 years of experience in creative or content creation roles
- Skilled at copywriting in English & Arabic
- Experience in preparing and presenting workshops
- Skilled in Adobe (especially Photoshop, Indesign, Premiere Pro) or design/editing software
- Experience and interest in conducting research
- Familiar with formats & content types of all social media platforms
- Deep understanding of Arab cultures across GCC, Levant, Egypt, and North Africa
- Creative, storyteller, proactive, and social-first way of thinking
