About the Team
Our team consists of highly skilled industry experts who collaborate seamlessly to enrich the content ecosystem on TikTok. The Partnerships team plays a vital role by closely coordinating with various XFN teams such as content programming, marketing, PR, and other core functions. Together, we strive to foster growth within our respective verticals while aligning with other teams to implement a comprehensive long-term strategy that promotes the expansion of this ecosystem.
At the heart of our team’s approach is a strong focus on data and insights. We leverage this valuable information to shape both short-term tactics and long-term business strategies, ensuring that we make data-driven decisions. As the Content Partnership Manager – Entertainment, your role will be based at our Dubai Head office, as part of the Pakistan team and collaborating with other cross-border teams. Your primary focus will be on cultivating TikTok’s content ecosystem in the entertainment realm through partnerships with a diverse range of collaborators, from user-generated accounts to professionally generated accounts.
– Manage and build an entertainment community for the platform with Media Publishers & Celebrities
– Catch the content trend within General Popular Categories (e.g., entertainment subcategories), and lead the topic in the short-video format.
– Responsible for day-to-day tasks such as partnership operations and activations, relationship maintenance, and educational material preparation.
– Increase entertainment communities and involve them in related workshops and projects.
– Will maintain and train the related vertical to encourage HQ content in-app.
– Develop entertainment and daily viral content ideas for the platform and follow daily trends in and out-app to enrich in-app entertainment content.
– Responsible for the operational performance of content creators and assisting their content performance daily.
– Expertise in internet trends and pop culture to catch creative things.
– Work with cross functions to co-create local campaigns and push forward for execution.
– Follow up online/offline entertainment campaigns & projects with cross-functional teams to drive content and user growth and amplify a positive brand image externally.
Qualifications
– Strong background in community relationship building, creator operations, project management, and creator communication.
– Strong communication and time-management skills; creative and energetic.
– Ability to execute strategies and plans according to management planning.
– Passion and knowledge of internet trends and pop culture.
– Creative in entertainment content development.
– Ownership to cover the whole partner and creator acquisition chain (pitch, acquisition, retention, partnership).
– Understanding of local content partner ecosystem industry, pop culture.
– Experience with business development and content development business.
– Prior experience with working with media houses and/or managing or working with celebrities.
– At least 4-5 years of experience in the PR / Advertising field.
