Job Description
The role is accountable for genotyping solutions in human and agrigenomics domain. It is a growing business where Thermo Fisher Scientific act as consultants for scientist in predictive genomics and agrigenomics field. Support moving healthcare systems from a model of sick care to preventive care.

We offer a wide range of solutions to best fit customer needs. and mainly responsible for accelerating the growth in complex sales environment where expertise and specialization are required. Therefore project management skills, strategic thinking, planning and presenting and forecasting, are key skills required.

Customer segmentation, map and lead consortia in genotyping application fields like population studies, PRS projects, GWAS studies for predictive genomics and in the agrigenomics molecular breeding application, such as marker assisted breeding, genomic selection, parentage,…

Responsibilities include territory and project mapping .Market segmentation. Implementing, tracking and reporting performances of the sales plan, targets and forecasts. Drive the company’s genotyping solutions by working with internal and external stakeholder like marketing and global business units, KOL and consultants. Partner with local distributors and sales teams to identify and develop potential leads

Additional responsibilities are:

Sales management

• Create and present weekly and quarterly regional forecasts
• Territory plan with short term and long term plans
• Identify and support new markets
• Prospecting and strategic account planning
• Identify and nurture Key Opinion Leaders
• Built strong internal and external networks
• Deliver regular business reviews ( MBR/QBR))
• Become an expert in application of choice ( champion)
• Support new product and market development (VOC)
• Be a team player

• Complies with company quality management systems, policies and procedures

Qualification:

• Masters in Molecular Biology or related field
• Solid background in Genetics
• Very good communication and presentation skills
• 
  Minimum of 2 years sales experience in life science environment, and complex deal experience
• Fluent in English – written and spoken skills, Arabic language skills would be desirable but not essential
• A PhD would be beneficial
