Job Description:
SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Laundry supervisor / Housekeeping Assistant Manager, and within the limits of established TRYP policies and procedures, execute the day to day operation of Housekeeping Department and assists in achieving the department and Hotel goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Collects the linen requirement list from the housekeeping order taker.
- Distributes linen on each floor as per requirements.
- Ensures that the trolleys are clean before using for transporting the fresh linen.
- Keep the record of the soiled linen collected from the floors and the fresh linen received from outsourced laundry.
- Soiled linen should be sorted in the designated area before moving it to the laundry vehicle.
- Heavily soiled/stained items should be handed over separately.
- Ensures that the soiled linen transporting from the hotel to the outsourced laundry is carried out as per the scheduled hours.
- Ensure that the linen transported to the floors is properly stacked in the trolleys.
- Check the quality and quantity of the linens received from outsourced laundry.
- Check the quality of the linen before loading into the trolley.
- Follow up for any additional requirement of linen on floors with the housekeeping desk and the supervisor / laundry supervisor.
- Ensures that the equipment’s are in good working condition.
- Maintain daily linen transport logbook.
- Make sure to inform the reliever and the supervisor of any shortage in the linen.
- Attends the departmental communication meeting.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by the superior.
Desired Skill & Expertise:
- At least 1-2 years experience in same field
