Job Purpose: To manage one of the below revenue management disciplines (i.e. Flight, Pricing, Demand) to ensure revenue per available seat kilometre and yield is maximised and EK?s competitive position is maintained on a regional and network basis. Ensure and maintain accurate forecasts through the formulation of market analysis and strategies facilitating pro-active decision making in offering/withdrawing prices and inventory thus optimising network revenue. Develop and maintain expertise around revenue management principals and techniques, and propose innovative ideas to further enhance application of revenue management. Job Outline: On a daily basis evaluate market trends, forward bookings, competitor behaviour, performance of past initiatives and offer proactive recommendations and actions to drive network revenue. Using data sourced from multiple sources such as PROS, local sales offices, ATPCO, pricing systems, assess competitor activity, recommend and prepare competitive responses and strategies aimed at retaining market share and optimising revenue. Optimise network revenues across all Origins and Destinations, including new routes, using processes, procedures and controls related to Pricing, Origin and Destination forecasting and flight optimisation through inventory control Ensure RO standards and procedures are followed to through both the regional RO Market Operations team, Inventory and Commercial Operations. Provide guidance and requirements to both the RO Standards and Procedures team and the RO Systems team on operational requirements for business process and system development. Manage internal relationships ensuring Revenue Optimisation alignment with Commercial objectives alongside those of other internal stake holders, SVP?CO, RMCO, Area/Sales Managers, Corporate Communications, Skywards, EGIT, EKAS, Planning and other departments. REVENUE SYSTEMS ANALYST • Analyse flown revenue data and derive average fares for use by PROS to have optimal fare mix allocation for future flights • Develop business specification for new systems, enhancements to the existing systems to suit the changing business requirements and establish controls on the integrity and functionality of new system releases by developing appropriate system test plans. • Establish capacity constraining parameters in the Revenue Planning System after analysing EK’s operating plan • Analyse forward booking data and create executive reports for the senior management/commercial analysts highlighting areas of concern in the revenue generation process to proactively take corrective actions • Establish and maintain system parameters of RO Systems after analysing data using trend analysis techniques and forecasting models • Create business specification for existing and new RO systems; enhancements to the existing systems to suit the changing business requirements and establish controls on the integrity and functionality of new system releases by developing appropriate system test plans • Improve procedures and implement checks on the effectiveness of RO Systems to support commercial objectives. Automation of business processes; both through IT developed systems and in-house developed mini systems to improve the efficiency of the RO systems. • Periodic review and enhancement of Auto-Pilot features in the Revenue Management systems to get the system to take care of routine decisions so that the RO analysts can focus their attention on important revenue opportunities • Define, co-ordinate and create test cases/packs based on user requirements and application changes. Coordinate the set-up and communication between the application/product and the partners system to support the testing of application functionality and linked systems.

Qualifications & Experience: Commercial/Sales.Revenue Optimisation : 5+ Years Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
