The Emirates Group Hiring for Manager ESG Risk & Reporting Job at Dubai Full Time

Job Purpose: Job Outline As part of Group Risk team, the Manager ESG and Reporting is responsible in initiating, implementing and managing the ESG risk and reporting programme of sustainable Finance within the Emirates Group. This role drives the ESG agenda for Finance and participates in the adoption of framework for ESG reporting standards. Job Accountabilities – Develop and manage a Finance Framework for ESG Risk Management and Reporting in close cooperation with Group Financial Reporting and drive the analysing, interpretation and implementation of the reporting of ESG topics. Ensure and maintain definitions, systems, processes, data collection and governance of ESG Finance data. – Interpret complex ESG legislation and reporting standards and through expertise in this field explain them in everyday language and build positive relationships with internal clients in different locations to understand and address their needs. Act as a subject matter expert towards the Emirates Group Companies, supporting them in the correct application of the Sustainable Finance principles. – Establish and maintain high quality relationships across the group and outside stakeholders, to effectively gather and report on verifiable ESG data. Consistently respond to ESG questionnaires, due diligence requirements and other related external communication (authorities, banks and counterparties supporting issuance of green bonds etc.). – Support Group Financial Reporting the additional ESG reporting requirements for the Emirates Group Annual Report. – Analyse and understand the future impact and potential opportunities of green/sustainable financing for Emirates and dnata and work closely to structure and execute such opportunities across the group in synch with related lifetime reporting needs. – Systematically tracking of trends and performance gaps within sustainable finance regulation. – Lead the ESG agenda and change management within Emirates Group Finance in close collaboration with Environmental Affairs. – Lead the relevant industry forums, associations and campaigns for Emirates. In particular represent Emirates in the IATA Task Force Sustainable Finance. – Drive ESG knowledge and awareness across group Finance through training and workshop initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience: Experience Finance & Insurance.Risk Management: 10+ Years Qualifications Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) Degree preferably in a related subject i.e. Accounting, Regulatory Compliance, ESG Experience from either a global finance organization working with ESG and/or IFRS compliance and/or from a Big4 firm working within Sustainable Finance. – Practical experience and exposure to aviation and environmental policies. Knowledge/skills – Relevant and proven ESG Reporting experience with solid knowledge of ESG disclosure frameworks – Independent and results-oriented individual with strong work ethic and be willing to dive into the detail and get hands-on to deliver – Excellent oral and written communication skills – Persuasive power and influential skill set – Excellent interpersonal skills – Strong analytical ability
