Job Purpose: Plan, develop and manage a long-term digital product strategy that supports and is aligned with the business strategies of Emirates Group Brands. Champion a customer first product design approach, that is in line with the strategy of Corporate Communications Marketing & Brand. (CCMB) Deliver digital communications solutions as directed by CC Specialists (Advertising, PR and Sponsorship) as well as Commercial Managers, and to collaborate with, and advise stakeholders on how to drive the optimal use of digital technologies. – Lead, direct and manage the Digital Product and Design strategy to deliver digital solutions that are on-brand, integrated, cost-efficient and aligned with the objectives and plans of Emirates Group Businesses . Champion CCMB’s customer first strategy when advising regional, brand or global briefs, to deliver an omnichannel digital experience. – Ensure maximum alignment with business client objectives and plans when initiating projects, so as to maximise return on investment. – Ensure that all projects are project managed to the standards expected by the business and set by the Corporate Communications project management framework, to ensure delivery of assignments within scope, time, quality and cost. To develop functionality and build for all digital properties, and propose ways to improve the performance of digital channel/solutions. – Manage the delivery of content for all Emirates-owned digital channels as briefed by specialist and account teams, and to manage the Emirates Digital Production team to ensure the 7 day week operation of 167 sites in 28 languages. Oversee the implementation of the groups content management systems across all relevant digital touchpoints, ensuring the planned frequency of content updates, ensuring the QA (Quality Assurance) process is strictly adhered to and that Service Levels are defined, communicated and met. – Advise specialists (Advertising, PR & Sponsorship) and Manager Account and Account Managers to ensure the Emirates Group image and strategy is coherent across all digital communication disciplines. – Lead and direct the Digital Design team to provide world class solutions by exploring trends in digital design, industry developments, digital and mobile technology, and share this knowledge within strategic CCMB forums. – Collaborate with Emirates Group IT throughout the project and system development lifecycle to ensure the development of all IT related digital communications projects and services meet the specific business requirements and maintain the highest user experience, creating synergies and re-use across the Group where applicable. – Effectively manage and utilize the services of agencies and other suppliers, and manage internal and external resources, to deliver cost effective digital solutions within budget parameters directed by specialist and account teams. Manage any specifically allocated budget for the central development of corporate digital technology, assets, systems, tools and build, and provide regular updates on committed and planned spend to the business units, Finance Manager Account and VP Shared Services. In addition the jobholder will collaborate with Finance and the two P&L teams in evaluating software, and in the purchase of IT services. – Direct, lead and develop the Digital Experience team to deliver sustainable digital solutions. Guide them to improved performance through continuous training and development. Deal with staff issues as they arise offering solutions and support. Ensure staff undertakes training as identified in their personal and professional development plans

Qualifications & Experience: – Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) Experience : – Marketing & Media Communication. Internet Communications 10+ Years Knowledge/Skills: – Experience in Marketing & Media Communication. Internet Communications 10+ Years – Experience as an international interactive client or agency professional, of which 5 years experience is related to the service/travel industry. An eCommerce background is important as is experience of managing offline marketing activities. – The job holder must have in depth understanding of elements that contribute to the production of quality online development. A good understanding of different programming languages and how they affect web build and user experience, content management systems, campaign tools, knowledge of all aspects of website development, email campaigning, tracking and research.
