Job Purpose: To carry out routine maintenance tasks and defect rectification of aircraft as per company and associated regulatory procedures.To carry out routine maintenance tasks and defect rectification of aircraft as per company and associated regulatory procedures.
Qualifications & Experience: Engineering.Other : Vocational or Diploma (12+2 or equivalent) : Minimum of 2 aircraft type approvals 7+ years in aviation maintenance environment as an Aircraft Technician with a reputable airline or Aircraft Maintenance Organisation. Knowledge/skills: National/Higher National Diploma (12+2 or equivalent) or Apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electronic, Avionics or Aeronautical Engineering Fully conversant with Air Legislation and legal matters that relate to the operation and maintenance of aircraft to international standards. EFTA (Emirates Flight Training Academy): Must have UAE GCAA/ICAO Type II/EASA Part 66 license rated in B1.1 and/or B1.2 categories, and/or B2 category, in addition to company approvals. Rating in at least 1 EFTA aircraft type desirable, plus 9+ years? experience in aviation maintenance.
