Job Purpose: Deliver operational pricing and distribution support to SkyCargo which ensures sales are conducted at an optimum price mix and that contracts applicable to our global, regional and local tenders are managed according to defined policies and procedures. Minimise revenue leakage by implementing control mechanisms, monitoring compliance level and applying pricing directives. Measure success through the regular review and analysis of market and commercial performance. Job Outline: – Generic – Support overall Pricing team functions, including generating, maintaining and collating reports to ensure data-driven decision-making. Analyse market-data and internal rate trends to ensure rate integrity, use available systems / tools to propose and implement set strategies in coordination with Pricing and Revenue Optimisation managers. – Involves close coordination with multiple stakeholders both internal and external, including Pricing, Capcon, Outstation Cargo Managers and Interline partners, maintaining a timely and adaptable approach in responding to multiple concurrent requests with differing elements. – Lead the development and maintenance of pricing and interline key performance indicators and metrics and regularly measure and report on the performance of each discipline. – Create, review, action and maintain various contractual documentation (i.e. formal contracts, sales, purchasing and licensing agreements, etc.) ensuring the timely review and approval of any variations and act as the main point of contact for our customers on all contractual matters, liaising with internal stakeholders where necessary. – Monitor, analyse and report on commercial cooperation activities of other airlines and assess impact on EK?s commercial interests, reviewing and updating all applicable SPA agreements on a regular basis. Facilitate the continuous improvement of our pricing standards and procedures (i.e. pricing methodologies, system enhancements, etc.) by leading process improvement workshops and best practice groups ensuring effective prioritisation co-ordination with key stakeholders. – Pricing – Develop pricing procedures and policies for all key disciplines and ensure documentation is regularly reviewed, improved, agreed and communicated effectively across all pricing, capacity control and commercial teams. – Develop and maintain change management principles relative to pricing systems and teams ensuring that the capability of any new system or enhancement has undergone impact analysis on existing standards and procedures and any updates are identified and communicated (via a briefing or formal training) to the relevant team. – Review and analyse market variants (i.e. currency fluctuations, fuel prices, security costs) utilising industry data provided by pricing supervisors. Report back to the pricing cargo manager with recommendations related to pricing adjustments, surcharges, etc. to minimise any revenue loss, reduce operating costs, capitalize on market opportunities and maintain yield. – Manage and maintain pricing data for electronic web based selling mediums to promote multi-channel distribution of products and services which reduce transaction costs and achieve process efficiency and a strategic market position. – Review and analyse under collections, in liaison with the stations and revenue accounts/finance, identifying those related to non-compliance of policy and make recommendations to protect SkyCargo’s interest based on accounting guidelines and commercial considerations. – Audit SkyChain to ensure that correct tariffs, surcharges, etc. are accurate and that the correct revenue is accounted and billed, identify areas of non-compliance and liaise with relevant stations to take appropriate action. – Review information on demands and derivation of supply and proposal preparations. Clarify bid conditions and facilitate the preparation of tenders, contributing to cost and price calculations. Co-ordinate tender reviews and monitor the management of bids to ensure timelines are met and that the tender and bids are aligned with the framework provided by the customer.

Qualifications & Experience: Logistics/Cargo.Other : 5+ Years Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) : Knowledge/skills: – Strong analytical skills. Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written, with an equivalent ability to describe applications in a way that is easily understood and proficiency in drafting agreements, rules, processes and procedures. Specific expertise in understanding pricing and revenue management as well as commercial awareness of global trade and how airline networks are being developed consequently. – In the Air Cargo industry with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory capacity dealing with Tariffs and Pricing or equivalent experience in the Industry. – Completed advanced cargo courses in Air Cargo rating, fundamentals of load control, basic cargo handling. – Good knowledge of International Air Cargo rating rules and regulations. – Ability to work under pressured environment and independently with a minimum amount of supervision.
