Job Purpose: To control activities in the Tracing Unit including but not limited to, managing the identification, investigation, following up on the missing / damaged cargo and customer claim process and handling initial investigations with regards to claims to ensure implementation of activities accurately in line with the regulations protecting dnata cargo’s image Job Outline: – Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment – Ensures safety of staff and that they have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to work safely by providing support, direction for the desired safety behaviours and leading with safety – Implements departmental policies, processes, procedures and provides instructions to the team on the day of operations – Implements day-to-day operations assigned and ensures compliance with the established standards and procedures – Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement – Reviews and follows up on all Freight Gates to ensure compliance with the tracing procedures and internal SLA – Liaises with key stakeholders to recover missing cargo to meet the required timelines and decrease the claim costs – Identifies root cause for missing cargo to ensure that the corrective measures are taken and reduce the claim cost for dnata – Traces and processes claims using the systems to align with the ground handling agreements and customers? requirements – Investigates mishandled Cargo cases to ensure that the efficiency gaps are identified and recommendation is provided to management for process improvement – Follows up on customer complaints and claims to ensure that they are handled accurately and efficiently – Updates the tracing systems regularly and ensures that it is operating at all times – Acts as the focal point of contact to Freight Gates across UAE to ensure smooth functioning of the systems – Coordinates with IT in case of any troubleshooting and system problems for quick solutions to ensure the continuity of the system – Develops reports for service failures to be provided to the Tracing Manager for further analyses

Qualifications & Experience: – Bachelor’s degree – 4-6 years of experience in Air Cargo / Freight Forwarding Company with at least 2 years exposure to tracing and claims – Proficient knowledge on Cargo Operations – Proficient understanding of Dangerous Goods Handling – Proficient knowledge of cargo handling systems, computer applications – Proficient Data collection and analysis Skills – Proficient IT and Computer Literacy Skills – English Language Skills – Proficient Planning and Organizing Skills – Proficient Communication Skills – Proficient Safety Awareness Skills – Valid UAE Driving License – Light Vehicle
