The Cure Hiring for Assistant Salon Manager, Beauty Job at Dubai Full Time

You will be responsible for the Beauty Department of a big multi-functional salon with a tam of 8-10 therapists performing facial and body treatments, Microblading, makeup, eyelash extensions and lamination, waxing, threading, tinting, tanning and others. As the head of the section you will be required to:

– Manage day to day operations of the department – control hygiene and ambience of treatment areas, supervise staff grooming and ensure they are adhering to company rules & service procedures, ensure sterilisation and timely maintenance of equipment and tools.

– Hold staff briefings. Provide constant employee awareness and feedback. Create process for improvement of the team members by setting relevant targets & performing staff reviews.

– Provide treatment and product training. Write treatment protocols and record video tutorials.

– Identify needs for structure amendments and staff recruitment. Post job openings, interview candidates, control trials, supervise recruitment and induction process.

– Maintain high customer service levels and ensure all complaints are dealt with promptly by you as the department head. Initiate corrective actions in relevance to staff, products or processes.

– Study the market for innovations and maintain good knowledge of the competition. Keep refreshing the menu and the processes to stay at the top.

– Suggest marketing strategies to boost image and bookings. Liaise with the marketing team to ensure a consistent image is being portrayed from offline to online throughout.

– Review financials, create team and individual KPIs, set targets, evaluate progress and amend strategies.

– Control stocks – stock take, orders, storage, usage and records.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: AED8,000.00 – AED12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai Knowledge Village: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Beauty / Spa / Cosmetology: 3 years (Required)

Language:

• Fluent English (Required)

License/Certification:

• Cibtac, Cidesco, NVQ Level 3 (Required)
