We are looking for a Primary admin assistant/ government relations executive (UAE Nationals only) to join our growing school as soon as possible.

Core purposes:

• To support the primary and early years’ leadership with organisation, communication and administration.
• To coordinate with other departments for government approvals for school trips, events and any other activities.
• To support the registrar with the requirements of the local regulators

Key duties:

In this role, your main responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• To ensure children are safe and well cared for at all times
• To provide administrative support to the primary leadership team, including, trip and ECA organisation including communication with families, setting up external assessments, populating excel data sheets etc.
• To support the daily collation of attendance information
• Working with the head of inclusion to maintain school Emirati profiles and associated documents
• Assisting the registrar in processing the educational licenses on time
• Applying for any special approvals (if applicable) in line with ministry expectations
• Assisting the registrar by coordinating with parents regarding required documents so that registrations are completed within agreed timelines, ensuring that the submission of the end of year results, pupils’ promotion & transfer etc. are completed within an agreed time frame
• Compiling and generating ministry required pupil records (manual or online records)
• Guiding staff on requirements for attestations and equivalency of documents, if and when required, and following up on the same to ensure all staff are fully approved by concerned governing authorities
• Guiding and supporting staff & HR with queries related to MOE, KHDA and such similar authorities
• Assisting with school cover duties when needed

In addition, all staff are required to carry out any tasks required by the school or the regional office to facilitate the smooth day to day running of the school

Person specification:

To be line managed by the head of primary

Hours of work- 7.25am-4.15pm Monday to Thursday; 7:15am to 12pm on Fridays, plus occasional evening and weekend work

Holidays- 30 working days per year
