Job Summary
Within the Finance, Supplier Management ＆ Business Transformation organization, Supplier Management is the procurement function responsible for sourcing, contracting and managing the Road, Rail and Intermodal Freight supplier base for Tetra Pak Europe and Central Asia as part of a team. Special focus on Middles East, Pakistan, Turkey & Africa.
We are looking for an experienced Supply Manager who will work in close collaboration with our business stakeholders, our different supplier management functions and our suppliers to ensure the execution of our procurement category strategy.
You will be based in UAE or KSA, and you will work in a regional arena.
What you will do
As Supply Manager you will be responsible for:
- Business partnering with senior management of stakeholders including Integrated Logistics Director, Supply Chain Control Tower Manager and other stakeholders.
- Lead regional souring for road freight in EMEA region through COUPA and report savings in ARIBA
- Perform business review meetings with key logistics suppliers on quarterly basis
- Perform ]improvement activities in logistics categories to achieve KPI targets
- Track savings and other KPI results and prepare forecast on quarterly basis
- Drive sourcing and contracting activities as per strategy and policy, identify and implement cost saving initiatives
- Driving and measuring supplier performance; manage supplier base
- Taking an active part in the creation and execution of our category strategy
- Executing strategic sourcing projects, supporting stakeholders in project delivery as well as managing supplier contracts and performance,
- Secure the achievement of KPIs related to quality, cost and delivery of the supply base
- Develop & maintain relationships with key stakeholders
We believe you have
- University degree or Higher education preferably in the field of Business Administration or Economics and have a good command in English both written and verbally,
- At least 10 years of experience in supplier management, preferably in Logistics category or supply chain management in an international global context as well as advanced data management, contracting and vendor management skills,
- Fluent in English , Turkish and french is a plus
- A previous experience in a Supplier Management function in the food packaging industry will be considered a plus,
- Good analytical and data management skills to be able to challenge the status quo based on data and key insights,
- A good level of commercial, relational and negotiation skills,
- As a person you are results oriented, energetic, self-driven and have strong communication skills and the ability to deal with ambiguity and continuous change.
- A prior experience in using COUPA & e-Auction will be considered a plus
