Position: Senior Esports Operations Manager (MENA)
Location: Dubai
Our team in MENA is currently looking for a Senior Esports Operations Manager to create, operate and implements our Esports program in the MENA region. The Esports Manager role will be responsible for designing creative competitive tournament systems, proactively identifying key Esports tactics, anticipating business needs, and implementing solutions across the organization. The successful candidate must possess an interest in the MOBA game industry and already established previous experience in the Esports field.
Responsibilities:
1. Own the topic of MOBA, the gaming community and what drives its audiences
2. Create a plan that caters for the different type of audiences on different platforms
3. Create plans for each social channels and set KPIs / Metrics respectively
4. Understand the community needs and express through content
5. Lead on the reporting and analysis of channel & content healthiness
6. Understand the Esports influencer marketing ecosystem and plan an approach accordingly
7. Understand the data metrics of a successful Esports program
Required Skills:
1. Minimum 6 years experience in the Esports field
2. Excellent project management skills
3. Professional experience working with the development and execution of competitive gaming, pro-gaming, ladders, leagues, and tournaments
4. Prior event, and / or tournament planning, organization and budgeting experience
5. Creative understanding and content analysis
6. Understanding of care products and customer service through social (considered a plus)
7. Native Arabic Language is a must
Qualifications:
1. 6+ years of experience in an Esports related role
2. Advanced knowledge project management and quality content
3. Clear understanding on how Esports broadcast works
