Job Purpose
Analyze, design, and execute the test cases on the platforms like Mobile Apps, CTVs, and Web browsers.
Key Accountabilities

• Testing on Set-top boxes, Web, Mobile, Smart TV, and Chromecast platforms
• Testing on API level
• Participate in the regression tests
• Participate in the UAT tests
• Participate in the post-release tests
• Responsible for the quality of the application
• Reporting to the QA Manager
• Work close with the Project Owners
• Create manual test cases according to the requirements
• Estimation during the sprint planning
• Managing the app error logs and following up with the fixes
• App debug using Tizen Studio / webOS IDE
• Experience with Web Debugging tools (e.g., Chrome debug)
• Experience with Mobile Debugging tools (e.g., Charles proxy)
• Experience with Rest API Debugging tools (e.g., Postman)
• End-2-end debug mindset (backend to frontend)
• Motivate and actively involved in the team’s day to day activity
• Share the knowledge with the team
• Create and share test reports

Qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies
Experience required:

• Agile and Scrum experience
• JIRA and Confluence experience
• JIRA reporting tool experience
• Experience in testing streaming Applications (DTH & OTT)
• Experience working on Android STB
• Experience in writing functional and non-functional test cases
• Experience in creating manual and automated test reports
• UI/UX knowledge and experience in understanding the user flows and identifying use cases
• Solid understanding of End-2end debugging principles and tools
• UAT hands-on experience
• Arabic Right to Left testing experience
• Experience with cloud application testing service (e.g. AWS device farm)
• Testrail test case management software experience
• Years of experience: 4-5 years in a relevant/similar role

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to AED110,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
