Key Responsibilities:Ensure a secure working environment for all staff within the facility, guaranteeing adherence to relevant policies and procedures while promoting safe and efficient operations.Authorize all requests for equipment maintenance and service removals, ensuring proper clearance, tagging, and issuance of safety permits in line with facility protocols.Oversee compliance with environmental regulations and maintain operational limits.Act as the first responder to any incidents or injuries.Supervise the completion of shift, daily, weekly, and monthly operational checks.Enhance the operational efficiency of all facility aspects.Diagnose and resolve operational challenges within the plant.Coordinate maintenance schedules and activities.Manage projects as assigned by the Operations Manager.Develop and lead a motivated, versatile, and technically skilled workforce to ensure a productive team environment.Facilitate technical training and professional development for all shift personnel.Maintain comprehensive administrative records related to staff performance.Work Schedule:Team Leaders operate on a rotating 12-hour shift pattern alternating between day and night shifts.Willingness to work additional hours as required.Qualifications:Applicants should possess a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in power generation or resource recovery operations.A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.Proven hands-on supervisory experience with high-performing teams and high-pressure systems is essential.Ability to interpret technical documents, administrative publications, and regulatory guidelines.Competence in drafting reports and correspondence, as well as effectively presenting information to management and team members.Proficiency in basic mathematical operations and the ability to analyze data through graphs and ratios.Capability to take decisive action to avert equipment damage or personnel injury during emergencies or atypical situations.
