1. JOB PURPOSE

Primary function of a driver is to perform accurate, complete & timely delivery of goods in good condition, to our customers in different locations all over U.A.E.

2. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/KNOWLEDGE

Qualifications and Requirements:

· High school graduate.

· Valid driving license.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Knowledge about UAE roadways and use GPS in mobile to plan and navigate to the location specified.

· Good communication skills in Hindi & English.

· Good looking appearance and personal hygiene.

3. COMMUNICATION AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

· Customers, Retail store staff, Transport team.

4. KEY DIMENSIONS AND RELATED JOB RESULTS

· Independently handle deliveries to customer by ensuring that delivery reaches the correct location/ customer and on time.

· Collect payment from customer and reconcile cash/ card payment with the cashier.

· Immediately report issues related to home delivery of goods to the store manager or the concerned In-Charge.

· Assuring enhanced customer satisfaction by collecting information, feedback on service and resolving complaints as per Company policy.

· Inspect vehicle tires, brakes, fluids (water & oil) etc. to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance in mind. Ensure safety of the vehicle and staff.

· At the time of vehicle accident, police report has to be forwarded to Traffic Coordinator/Transport Division.

· Proper checking of Vehicle food permission cards and Registration.

· Assisting in curtailing the expenditure on the delivery vehicle by strictly following the scheduled route plan or shortest route.

· Arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions and managing payments.

· Attending and returning calls from concerned departments in situations in which the same is not a violation of Traffic laws of U.A.E.(use headphones)

· Adherence to U. A. E. RTA rules and Regulations to avoid traffic fines &mishaps.

5. OPERATING ENVIRONMENT

· Job demands working from multiple location and travel to various locations within UAE.

· The working environment is physically demanding of time such as working long hours, night shift, working on holidays.

· Job demands speed in finishing tasks and accuracy.

· Compliance to the Company dress code for Drivers’ uniform and safety equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED1,800.00 – AED2,000.00 per month
