1. JOB PURPOSE
· To ensure that efficient services are provided to customers at the checkout counters
· Ensure safety and security on transacting with cash and other valuables (Gift cards, SALIK, Recharge cards etc.)
· To ensure proper and correct registering of transactions in POS-Point of sale system
2. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/KNOWLEDGE
· A Minimum of HSE with an aptitude for the role or SSC minimum 1-year experience in the front-end of a service sector company
· Good conversational/ communication skills in English language. Basic reading & writing in English is a must
· Arabic is an advantage
3. COMMUNICATION AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
· Immediate supervisors on all operational aspects through feedbacks and reporting
· Store staff for coordination and communication on team activities
4. KEY DIMENSIONS AND RELATED JOB RESULTS
· Proper registering of transactions through POS system by handling cash and valuables and operating/ registering transactions (physical/electronic) in various modes with no discrepancy in the transaction
· Provide direct and indirect customer service (ex: handling customer goods and bagging, assisting in other instructed store activities, maintaining cleanliness & orderliness at checkouts)
· Ensure proper usage of POS systems, Bank POS other equipment at checkout with care and diligence
· Contribute towards store sales through suggestive selling and upselling
· Register online/ home delivery sales transactions and coordinate with deliveries as per requirement
· Follow company SOPs and policies and ensure compliance and awareness towards instore activities
5. OPERATING ENVIRONMENT
· Job location might change based on business requirement. Job holder may be relocated to any outlet or department.
· The working environment is physically demanding of time such as working long hours, working on holidays, & demands physical agility.
· Job demands highest levels of integrity and reliability
· Job demands multi-cultural awareness, in order to effectively communicate with internal & external customers and vendors with courtesy.
· Job involves individual handling of work assigned as well as be a part of the team and operational process.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: AED1,200.00 – AED1,400.00 per month
