The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the organization’s warehouse. They will assist in receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. The Warehouse Assistant will also participate in periodic stocktaking activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.ResponsibilitiesAssist in receiving, unloading, and inspecting incoming materials.Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.Assist in the packaging and labeling of materials for shipment.Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.Coordinate with other departments to fulfill material requests in a timely manner.Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.Adhere to safety regulations and proper handling of materials.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations.Basic computer skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
