A certification or training in automotive mechanics is typically required for this position.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including engine tune-ups, oil changes, and tire rotations.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with vehicles, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.Replace or repair damaged or worn parts, such as belts, hoses, and brake pads.Test vehicles to ensure proper functionality and safety standards are met.Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and services provided.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of hazardous materials.Stay current with industry advancements and updates in automotive technology.Collaborate with other team members to complete complex repairs or projects.Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to vehicle owners.
