Job Description
As an Upholstery Tailor, you will be responsible for creating, repairing, and customizing upholstered furniture. You will work with a variety of fabrics and materials to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. This role requires excellent sewing skills, precision cutting abilities, and a keen eye for design.
Responsibilities
Measure and cut fabric to fit furniture pieces
Sew and hand-stitch upholstery materials
Repair and restore damaged furniture
Create custom designs and patterns
Ensure quality control and customer satisfaction
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as an upholstery tailor
Proficient in sewing and pattern-making
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
