The Site Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the logistics and supply chain operations at a construction site. They will ensure the timely delivery of materials, coordinate with vendors and suppliers, and manage inventory levels. The Site Logistics Manager will also develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate logistics activities at the construction site, including the scheduling and delivery of materials.Monitor inventory levels and ensure that materials are ordered in a timely manner.Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and transportation companies to arrange for the delivery of materials.Manage and track the movement of materials, ensuring that they are stored and handled properly.Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.Monitor logistics performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.Train and supervise logistics staff, providing guidance and support as needed.Prepare and present logistics reports to senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.Proven experience in logistics operations, preferably in the construction industry.Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and transportation processes.Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and communication abilities.
