As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in the financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes of the organization. You will be responsible for providing financial insights and recommendations to support key business decisions, strategic planning, and budgeting. Your duties will include analyzing financial data, creating financial models, forecasting future financial performance, and presenting findings to senior management. The Senior Financial Analyst will also collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for cost reductions, revenue growth, and operational improvements. A successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A degree in finance, accounting, or related field is required along with considerable experience in financial analysis.ResponsibilitiesConducting financial analysis of company performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Providing support in developing financial models and conducting valuation analysis for investments and strategic initiatives.Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management and key stakeholders.Monitoring and interpreting financial data and market trends to identify areas for improvement.Collaborating with various departments to analyze financial impact of business decisions.Supporting the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning efforts.Participating in financial audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.Evaluating and recommending improvements to financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Assisting in ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed.Mentoring and providing guidance to junior financial analysts within the team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis or related field.Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of financial software systems.Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
