We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CAD Technician specializing in Digital Delivery to join our team. As a Senior CAD Technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality digital designs and drawings using CAD software to support our projects. Your role will involve collaborating closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the digital delivery of design documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD technology, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for innovation and a proven track record in digital design, we would love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software for various engineering projects.Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of design deliverables.Implement digital delivery best practices to optimize project efficiency and quality.Create and maintain digital design standards and guidelines for the team to follow.Conduct quality checks and reviews of CAD drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.Assist in the coordination and management of project data and documentation.Support the implementation of BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes and tools.Provide training and mentorship to junior CAD technicians on digital delivery techniques.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CAD technology to enhance project deliverables.Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as clients and subcontractors, to resolve technical issues and ensure project success.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Bentley MicroStation.Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a CAD Technician in a digital delivery environment.Strong understanding of BIM principles and processes.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
