The Regional Controller is responsible for overseeing financial operations within a specific region or territory. They ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, tracking and analyzing key financial indicators, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Regional Controller collaborates with regional teams to develop and execute financial strategies and budget plans. They also provide guidance and support to local finance teams, ensuring consistency and adherence to corporate policies and procedures.ResponsibilitiesOversee financial operations within the region, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.Develop and execute financial strategies and budget plans.Analyze and interpret financial data to track regional performance.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and corporate policies.Provide guidance and support to local finance teams, including staff training and development.Manage external audits and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.Monitor and optimize cash flow and working capital within the region.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and cost efficiencies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.Proven experience in financial management and accounting.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
