The Payment Systems Application Consultant is responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of payment systems and applications. They analyze business requirements, design technical solutions, and oversee system testing and integration. The Consultant also provides training and support to end-users to ensure smooth operations and user satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business requirements and propose technical solutions for payment systems and applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather user requirements and ensure alignment.Design and develop payment system applications, integrating with internal and external systems.Oversee system integration and testing, ensuring functionality and performance.Provide training and support to end-users on payment system functionalities and processes.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement system enhancements and improvements.Conduct system audits and quality checks to maintain data integrity and security.Research and stay updated with the latest trends and developments in payment systems and technologies.Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, coordinating with technical support teams as necessary.Document system functionalities, processes, and configurations for reference and training purposes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Proven experience in payment systems development, implementation, or support.Strong knowledge of payment systems, including EMV, NFC, and online payment gateways.Proficiency in programming languages and development frameworks, such as Java, C#, or .NET.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
