The Mechanical Helper provides support to mechanical technicians and engineers in the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. This includes assisting in troubleshooting, conducting routine inspections, and performing preventive maintenance tasks.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.Clean and lubricate mechanical parts and components.Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing repairs as directed.Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems, identifying any repairs or maintenance requirements.Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when working with mechanical systems and equipment.Maintain and update maintenance records and documentation.Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.Assist in the planning and execution of preventive maintenance activities.Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.Stay updated with new technologies and best practices in mechanical maintenance.
High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a mechanical maintenance role is preferred.Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.Ability to use basic hand tools and equipment.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
