The Manager – Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations of the organization. They must ensure the efficient and timely flow of products, materials, and information from suppliers to customers. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent leadership abilities.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory levels.Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes.Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards in the supply chain.Identify and resolve supply chain issues and disruptions in a timely manner.Optimize transportation and logistics processes to minimize lead times and costs.Provide leadership and guidance to supply chain staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.Proven experience in supply chain management or a similar role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities.Knowledge of supply chain technologies and systems.
