The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits, and ensuring optimal inventory levels. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve discrepancies, implement inventory control measures, and support efficient warehouse operations.ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate inventory records, including quantities, locations, and values.Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to verify inventory accuracy.Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve inventory discrepancies.Analyze inventory levels and trends to identify potential risks and opportunities.Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders regarding inventory status.Participate in the development and implementation of inventory control measures and procedures.Assist with the planning and execution of physical inventory counts.Provide support and assistance in other warehouse-related activities as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent.Prior experience in inventory management or a related role.Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
