The HIS Application Support is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services for healthcare information systems (HIS). This includes resolving user issues, conducting system testing and upgrades, and assisting with the implementation of new HIS modules. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in healthcare IT, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to end-users for HIS applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.Test and implement software upgrades and patches to ensure system functionality.Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.Assist with the implementation of new HIS modules, including system configuration and data migration.Train end-users on new system features and functionalities.Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures.Conduct system testing and validation to ensure data integrity and system accuracy.Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in healthcare information systems.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.Previous experience in healthcare IT or HIS application support preferred.Knowledge of healthcare information systems and standards, such as HL7 and DICOM.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
