We are seeking passionate and dedicated English Teachers to join our secondary education team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in teaching English literature, language, and writing skills to students in grades 6-12. Responsibilities include developing engaging lesson plans, evaluating student performance, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a positive learning environment. The English Teachers must possess excellent communication skills, be well-versed in English language arts curriculum standards, and have the ability to inspire and motivate students. A Bachelor’s degree in English Education or a related field is required, along with relevant teaching experience. The successful candidates will be committed to promoting literacy, critical thinking, and creativity in the classroom.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans for teaching English to secondary students.Provide instruction on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, and literary analysis.Assess student progress through quizzes, tests, and assignments, and provide constructive feedback.Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and encourages student participation.Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students and provide additional support as needed.Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and instructional strategies across grade levels.Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and academic performance.Stay current on education trends and best practices in English language instruction.Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and techniques.Uphold school policies and guidelines related to classroom management, student behavior, and academic integrity.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in English or related field.Teaching certification or license.Experience teaching English at the secondary level preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of curriculum development and teaching methods.
